Translations of Legislation

  Translations of the Russian Constitution, laws on the judicial system, decisions of the Constitutional Court, and also the establishment agreement and charter of the CIS. The author and owner of the website is translator and student-lawyer John Fowler.
• Ernst & Young: Russian Legislation (in English)
  A comprehensive database of translations from Ernst & Young containing documents on tax and financial matters as well as general normative acts. The database features not only current but also previous edits of documents. Access to the database requires registration, which is granted at the discretion of the site owner.
• Rospatent (in English)The official website of the Russian Patent Office features translations on several laws on patents, trademarks, copyright and other intellectual property matters.
• Intelcom (in Russian and in English)A web resource that focuses on legal protection and commercial use of intellectual property. Includes a database containing translations of normative acts, news, a glossary of specialized terms and analytical reports. Free registration is required to access full texts of laws in English.
• Special Forces Documents (in English)Lists and full-text translations of several documents on the special forces, IT, encryption, communications and state secrets. The most recent documents are from 1998.
• Legislationline.org (in English)Official site of the Office for Democratic Institutions and Human Rights of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe. Overview of Russian political and legislative system and translations of legal acts on citizenship, elections and human rights.
